Monetary amounts
- Where you are writing for your own jurisdiction and only mention your local currency, use a symbol (for example £ or €). But if you mention other currencies too, use the three letter ISO codes (EUR, JPY) for all currencies.
- For use of $ its safer to refix with location eg US$, HK$, S$
- When writing a global communication use ISO codes. Round up unless the exact figure is necessary.
- When using ISO codes, leave no space between code and number but a space before million, billion or trillion.
